Nestled in those Hermanus sea cliffs is one of the most spectacular restaurants in the world, Bientang's Cave, which has been built inside a natural cave that still drips with water as it did hundreds of years ago.
In July every year hundreds of whales swim across the ocean to their safe haven - Walker Bay - where they bask in the sun with their calf's and give amazing shows to the many locals and tourists alike.
This is what makes Bientang's Cave such an amazing place to eat lunch, apart from the experience of eating your food in this wonderful cave, you get to sit and watch these massive peaceful whales swimming with their calf's and teaching them the art of breaching!
